Hey everyone! I don't know if anybody reads this or not but I wanted to keep as many people informed as possible. Here's a recap of our first meeting:
Blue Thumb: Our club is very interested in this stream monitoring program which is a part of the Oklahoma Conservation Commission Water Quality Division. We monitor Stillwater Creek at Sangre Rd on the second Saturday of every month. Lake McMurtry: There is a trash cleanup scheduled at Lake McMurtry for Saturday, Sept. 22, 9am-noon. The ESC is planning on attending. If you would like to come with our club email {jordan.beehler@okstate.edu}, if you would like to go seperately or want more info on the happenings at the Lake email {info@lakemcmurtry.com}
We are on the lookout for tshirt ideas and want to have them ordered by the end of this month. Also, there are a couple more volunteer opportunities that we are looking into participating in, as well as throwing around some fundraising ideas.
