Special Olympics State Games Registration Coordinator

 

Subject:            2012 Special Olympics State Summer Games

 

Once again the Oklahoma Special Olympics State Summer Games are coming to Stillwater!  And yes, you can be a part of hosting them.  The games are May 9th-11th on the OSU campus and in the Stillwater community.

 

I am recruiting you to assist with on-site registration of these 4,400 athletes and coaches.  Specifically, I need you from 7:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 9th at the Colvin Center Annex.  Our OSU team will work alongside some twenty-five (25) other State Summer Games Steering Committee members during the registration process.  It is a great time and one you will not forget.

 

Also, note that a required one-hour training session will be held on Tuesday evening, May 8th at 8:00 pm (for approx. one hour) at the Colvin Center Annex.

 

I hope you will consider helping out.  Please email Ruthie at ruthie.loffi@okstate.edu by April 30th to let us know if you can assist.  And don’t forget there are numerous other volunteer opportunities during these three days if you are so inclined!
