Event Time and Date

Friday, February 24 2017, 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM

Come meet with an AmeriCorps National Civilian Community Corps Team Leader to learn more about AmeriCorps NCCC. Some more information about AmeriCorps NCCC- we are a team based residential national service program for 18-24 year olds. We have 5 campuses across the country that serve different regions, but work as one to serve the different communities and their self-described needs. Each term of service is 10 months for Corps Members and 11 months for Team Leaders. Each member lives and works with a team on several projects in their region throughout their term. Living, food, and travel costs are all covered throughout the term of service, and members receive a living stipend as well. At the completion of their term, members receive an education award of nearly $6,000 to go towards continuing education or to pay back student loans. It is a great opportunity to travel, develop leadership skills, and give back to communities across the U.S.
